Another technological breakthrough: RaceChip tuning boxes allow for individual power adjustments in consideration for motor protection programs through the manufacturers. The cutting edge processor technology based on ATMEL results in the smallest, most powerful module thus far.
▶ 2008 | First digital pump-nozzle chip tuning module from RaceChip®
For the first time, a pump injector module in digital technology is available: The new RaceChip pump nozzle emphasizes the triumph of the RaceChip® brand. The module now analyzes engine maps at 25,000 times per second by using the latest processor technology and SMD design.
▶ 2007 | Common Rail digital module in the super-compact package
The demand for common-rail digital technology is increasing rapidly: At the request of some of our partners, we modified the board layout for a more compact housing unit. The result; a resounding success: the product was distributed by the tens of thousands throughout the world. Through the installation of this Chiptuning module the customer was able to adjust power requirements individually via a 3-way jumper.
▶ 2004 | RaceChip® – turning on and off by radio
A special solution for wholesalers: The radio module has been produced exclusively for our partners and not sold directly to consumers. Even today, this module is in use at many retailers. The operator is able to turn the box off while driving.
▶ 2003 | For the first time the engine’s power is optimized in real time automatically.
The ST6 processor by ST Microelectronics, is a completely new tuning module with an IP67 plug and was (splash proof). In addition by the use a 3-way jumper the operator has the option to control the performance increase on his own.
▶ 2001 | Innovation: SMD technology for electronic unit injectors
In the year 2001 the pump-nozzle electronics were configured using the SMD design for the first time.
▶ 2000 | The first RaceChip® module for Common Rail is sold
In 1998 the first module is invented and built into the first automobiles by 1999. By the year 2000 the introduction of common rail technology is offered by RaceChip and is provided with an edge connector (jumper) allowing the operator to regulate performance based upon individual needs and desires.
▶ 1999 | The first Tuning Module with individual power adjustment is developed.
For the first time, RaceChip used a 2-pin connector (known as a “Jumper”), to enable to operator to manipulate the programmed performance abilities.
▶ 1998 | The use of resistor tuning is out – enter chip tuning.
Based on the technology of Luke SD9 T.BG: the product is ready for mass production and is sold worldwide.
▶ 1997 | The final production of resistor tuning boxes.
The last of the “resistor tuning” boxes are manufactured. Based on the SD9, the plugmaster concluded production of the this module. With the final production of resistor tuning boxes the first attempts at optimization using distribution pump controls began.
